Drafted audio story line

For this audio story I decided to create an interview based around the knowledge of sports and the information collected around the sports management field. Furthermore, the idea of composing an interview about sports is highly related to my blog because it speaks about facts and opinions on need to know information about athletics and what it takes to be successful as an athletic director and in the sports management field. More importantly, some inspiration I had found was from a video watched in the beginning of the semester that I decided to put in my inspirational file. Where the video asked by a student on an interview to the athletic director about the ups and downs of event planning and what their everyday job was like. However, I thought that interview was pretty interesting to know about the everyday life of an athletic director so I decided to conduct my own interview about the potential types of coach you’d like to see at wsu, and how sports management played a role in school development.

In addition, I believe the significance of this interview was the responses given (mainly from the professor). Because in the interview I decided to interview one student who studied in sports management and one professor/coach who had a degree in sports management to make a connection between the student to professor perspective on their opinions about sports and occupations in that field. However, it seemed that professor Crawford had a lot to say in a given amount of time but she had great resource information to speak upon. Apart from this, I emailed professor crawford 2days ahead of my interview and then had a sit down discussion in her office wednesday morning, and the students I interviewed was a childhood friend who had also been majoring in sports management so i asked him in the gym to get a connection in relation to the theme of my blog.

Moving forward, some tools and techniques I used was the razor cutting tool to clip each one of my recordings. In addition, I flipped back and forth between the razor tool and the move tool to construct a smooth processing video. Furthermore, the process for me after using the razor cut tool was easy from there after I begin learning how to use it effectively. In conclusion, the technical challenges faced were trying to cut out each question and each answer to fit specifically where they needed to go.

  1. more importantly, when looking back at my recordings i think a minor change in there i may need to fix is the audio behind the first interview with my friend John. I think the audio in the background was used to sound more effective but in terms of this recording i don’t think that was necessary to make the theme of the interview more effective. Also, another thing I’d make changes to is in the beginning through the end maybe add in some music. Music that has not been copyrighted could be an effective piece to finalize the touch up on this interview. Furthermore, I do think one key aspect apart of my recordings was the audio brought in from tammy crawford because there in the interview I have a first hand source on the information asked. Making the points to my interview sound more effective, and better yet more credible. Apart from this, the last thing that may need to be added in my interview is a closing statement upon the interview that wraps up the discussion about sports concerning issues upon the sports management field.
